Brooke Shields, 56, sure knows how to work a camera—and now, she’s passing the torch to her daughters. In a new photo on Instagram, Brooke and her daughters, Rowan and Grier, rock matching black and white gingham bikinis on a beach, looking totally ready for summer.

“Soaking it all in 🖤🤍,” the Jane the Virgin actress captioned her post. Brooke looks happy to be back on her feet after a balance board accident in January left her with a broken femur. But thanks to plenty of physical therapy, she’s enjoying the beach in style with her girls by her side.

Friends and fans in the comments left hundreds of messages of love and support for Brooke. Celebrities like Lisa Rinna, Leslie Mann, and Orfeh left hearts, while Debra Messing simply wrote “Adorable.”

“Super cute! Love the swimsuits too!” one fan wrote. “Wow!! AH-MAY-ZING!!!🔥,” another comment read.

Previously, Brooke stayed fit with the help of resistance bands and aerial workouts. “You don’t have to deadlift 100 pounds. You can do small, teeny movements to activate these little muscles that actually wrap around other bigger muscles, and they tighten them all in,” she told Today. “It was a revelation to work with a personal trainer and it not be a crazy painful thing.”

Since the accident, Brooke has been relying on physical therapy to help her get her strength back. “I think it’s almost been the biggest blessing to date because I realized what a fighter I am,” she told Deborah Roberts on Good Morning America.

The road to recovery wasn’t easy.”I realized with a certain calm that the rest is up to me now,” she told People. “I’m the only one that’s going to be able to get through this.” But Brooke’s been very open about wanting to share her journey with others: “If I can turn it into anything positive,” she said, “or I can teach my girls, yeah, stuff is going to happen in your life, and how you respond is going to define you, and adversity will reveal you.”

“It won’t make you as much as it will reveal you because you see who you are. You see what you’re made up of,” Brooke told People. “Especially women. I want them to know that they deserve to feel good about themselves and be healthier and happier and bigger, live a bigger life.”
