A HAIRDRESSER has revealed how she makes her fringe stay bouncy all day – and the hack is so good that celebrity hairstylists have dubbed it “genius”.

Nico, who professionally goes by Ravioli Nicoli, glues her fringe to her face.

The hairdresser-turned-influencer applies a thin layer of eyelash glue to her eyebrow and sticks the bottom of her fringe to it.

She has a wispy fringe so sticks down small sections of hair at a time.

Nico uploaded a video sharing how she fixes her fringe with glue after a drive-through worker who “just got side bangs” asked for guidance on how to style them.

She explained: “I styled my bangs how I normally do them.

The hairstylist from California, US shared a clip of her walking in the wind… and her wispy fringe was still secured in place.

Nico’s purple hair has previously gone viral after she revealed her heatless curls hack.

Her glue tip has totted up over four million views on TikTok and attracted the praise of numerous hairdressers, with one calling it “genius”.

Others were less impress at the idea of putting eyelash glue on their face and questioned how Nico was able to brush her fringe if it was glued down.

Celebrity hairstylist Jason Collier commented: "We all love a fringe.

“Wispy, full and blunt, or curtain; they add great dimension to a hairstyle and accentuate features in certain face shapes.

“The only downside? The wind.

“After styling your fringe for ages the last thing you want to compete with is windswept hair that blows your gorgeous tresses out of shape and style.

“This hack is genius.”

According to Collier, Nico’s hack is very popular amongst celebrities on the red carpet when they want to glue gems in the hair.

He continued: “Clear lash glue is of course the best option for this hack as it won't leave any colour pigment on brows or skin.

“Just ensure you're using the thin brush applicator to precisely apply a small amount of glue to where you need it.

“Also, gently place the hair that you want to stick down into the glue.

“Pressing too hard can lead to a more exhaustive removal which can weaken hair strands and cause breakage.”

Collier warned that it's important to remove all traces of the glue from your eyebrows and hair at the end of the day.

This is because it can “harden and create build-up that will be extremely difficult to get rid of” when you next wash your hair.

After you're done for the day with this hack you want to make sure you remove all traces of glue from your hair as it can harden and create build-up that will be extremely difficult to get rid of in your next hair wash."
