BTS' Suga Shares Emotional Video For 'Amygdala'
04/28/2023BTS‘ Suga recently released a video for “Amygdala,” the third song from his new solo album, D-Day.
The song finds Suga recounting trauma he has experienced throughout his life, including the time he met with an accident, his time as a trainee, and his mother’s heart surgery.
The emotional visual, directed by Lumpens, takes viewers through Suga’s past painful memories. The video opens with a warning for content relating to suicide and self-harm.
“So, is all countless suffering for my own good? /What didn’t kill me only made me stronger / And I begin to bloom like a lotus flower once again,” Suga raps on the song.
“Amygdala” is the third song from D-DAY to get a music video, following the pre-release track “People Pt.2,” which featured Korean singer-songwriter IU, and the album’s main track, “Haegeum.”
