Mel B, 47, appeared on The One Show this evening alongside Ruby Wax and Emily Atack to promote their new show Trailblazers, which sees the trio retrace the steps of a Victorian explorer. The interview was met with elements of chaos as the three spoke over each other continuously, with it then being topped off with Mel trying to walk off the set.

We are leaving now, we’ve got to go.

Mel B was talking to hosts Alex Jones and Ronan Keating about her new BBC show alongside Ruby and Emily.

The trio proved to be very unpredictable BBC guests as they spoke over each other, quarrelled and even interrupted the show’s presenters.

As Ruby explained the show about the Victorian explorer, Isabella Bird, she said: “We were after the American Dream and then it went rotten.”

Mel then interrupted: “Just like this interview!”

The set then burst into laughter, with Mel exclaiming: “Don’t forget to tune in guys on Monday!”

Ronan then explained when the show was on, with Ronan then thanking the girls for their interview.

However, Mel took this as a sign that the interview was over and got up from her seat.

She said: “We are leaving now, we’ve got to go. She said we have to leave!”

Ruby and Emily then tried to pull the Spice Girls star back to her seat, before Ruby covered her face in embarrassment.

This wasn’t the only incident on the show, with Mel sharing that she had no underwear on when she stood up and Ruby touched her bottom.

Mel stood up to block the loud personality out, but Ruby exclaimed: “There are no underpants here!”

The Spice Girls star replied: “Well, I don’t wear underpants!”

Emily then joined in: “Oh my gosh, she’s got no knickers on!”

Many BBC viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the chaotic interview that sure left a few laughs in peoples living rooms.

Thatsmypeachx said: “What…is…happening…This is the biggest car crash of an interview between Mel B, Ruby Wax and Emily Atack #TheOneShow.”

PaulCAAtkinson added: “Absolute carnage on #TheOneShow tonight with Ruby Wax, Emily Atack & Mel B. Absolutely hilarious.”

JamesLeon1 commented: “Kind of loving the chaos of Ruby Wax & Mel B (plus Emily Attack) on The One Show. At least they have personalities.”

Mel B is known for her being part of the popular band The Spice Girls alongside Mel C, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner.

As she plans to tie the knot for a third time to Rory McPhee, Mel recently shared her bandmate’s joy when she told them the big news.

Speaking to HELLO!, she said: “Emma (Bunton) cried, so did Mel C. All of them were delighted for us and said, ‘We love Rory, he’s amazing’ and they’ve all sent congratulations cards.

“I do care about their opinion and it’s really special to me that they like Rory so much because they’ve never liked any of my boyfriends and they’ve been quite clear about that.”

The One Show airs weekdays on BBC One at 7pm.
