Do your summer plans involve copious amounts of wine?

If so, there’s a new job that should be on your radar.

Aldi is on the hunt for wine connoisseurs to test some award-winning wines for free, as part of its new Aldi Wine Club.

The supermarket is looking to recruit 30 wine lovers to try out three bottles from its latest premium range, over a six-week period this summer.

Chosen individuals will also receive a selection of tasting notes and expert tips to ensure they’re clued-up on all the vino.

All Aldi is asking for in return is that tasters share their honest reviews using the dedicated #AldiWineClub hashtag across their own Instagram pages and on the retailer’s website.

Anyone looking to apply will need to follow Aldi’s Twitter and Instagram account and then email their personal details and social handles to wineclub@aldi.co.uk – along with their proof of age and 150 words explaining why they would be perfect for Aldi Wine Club.

Entries are open now until 17 May – so there’s still time to get your application in.

In the meantime, wine fanatics can visit the supermarket’s very own Aldi Wine School and try out its new e-learning Aldiploma course. The latest modules explore wine regions around the world and explain to how to pair foods with wine.

If wine isn’t your tipple of choice, there are lots of new spirits that have landed just in time for summer – like Aldi’s salted caramel liqueur that tastes like Lotus Biscoff.

Likewise, M&S has brought out some new fruity gin liqueurs and Kopparberg has launched three new vodka flavours.
