Aldi has launched a range of tasty treats inspired by McDonalds and the new menu is 47 per cent cheaper than the fast food chain.
The discount supermarket has introduced hash browns, chicken nuggets and the “Big Stack” burger in its "fakeaway" range which is all boxed in packaging that has a striking resemblance to McDonald’s.
The latest addition, which is available in store from 24 May, is the chicken nugget box which contains 12 battered pieces along with a tangy sweet chilli sauce and BBQ dip for £1.69 for 300g.
Meanwhile McDonald’s 9 Chicken McNuggets are priced at £3.29 for just 150g.
In a nod to the famous McDonald’s Big Mac, Aldi has created the “Big Stack” burger which contains two layered lean beef burgers with a creamy cheese filling and is available in store now.

The burger is priced at £1.49 for 204g compared to McDonald’s Big Mac burger which sets customers back £3.29 for 45g.
Aldi has also launched a box of 10 hash browns for a mouth-watering full English breakfast.
The crispy treats are available in stores from 24 May and are priced at just £1.49 for 640g compared to the McDonald’s version which costs 89p for one.
The delicious snack can be accompanied with Aldi’s Village Bakery English Muffin, 39p for a pack of four, along with the Oakhurst Pork Patty, £1.75 for six, for a tasty breakfast muffin on a budget.
The updated range comes after Aldi shoppers praised the supermarket’s Tasty Catch Buttermilk Fish Burgers which were hailed as a dupe for the popular Filet-O-Fish and priced at £1.39 for two patties compared to the McDonald’s version at £3.69.
Savvy shoppers can purchase the four delicious snacks for just £5.86 and save themselves over a fiver by choosing Aldi.
Aldi shoppers described how they could not wait to get their hands on the delicious treats after commenting on a post in the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook page.
One penned: “I want these in my life.”
Another added: “Oooh can’t wait to try these.”
A third wrote: “Omg their sausage muffins are the same as Maccies, hope these are as good.”
“Kids’ dinner sorted,” an Aldi enthusiast commented.
