It's fair to say we've all been desperately awaiting the sunny weather, now that it's here and restrictions have continued to ease – a normal(ish) summer is something we're all looking forward to.
However, for days when the sun doesn't make an appearance and for chillier evenings, Argos is the latest retailer to roll out the summer stock.
Now customers can buy a small fire pit from renowned brand, La Hacienda for a very impressive £25, which includes free Click and Collect from your nearest store too.
The fire pit has black powder coat finish, which instantly adds charm in any garden setting, whilst providing an area to grill s'mores, burn the sausages or just to warm up on colder evenings.
La Hacienda is one of the leading UK brands when it comes to outdoor heating, for some of the flashier models customers can expect to pay upwards of £200 – so if you're on a budget this £25 fire pit is one we'd definitely consider.
The square fire pit features an ash tray that can also be used as a lid when not in use, a grill isn't included but can be bought separately if you intend to cook on your fire pit sometimes.
It comes in a flat pack box and is described as as suitable for one person to assemble.
The deal was first spotted on money saving website Hotukdeals, where users took to the comment section to talk about the bargain.
One person said: "Managed to get one on my local, thanks. Stock in Bristol in case anyone was wondering."
Others also updated the thread with availability as it seems many of them were selling out across the UK, meaning people were having to travel further to find stock.
During lockdown sales for outdoor appliances began to soar, seeing prices for outdoor essentials skyrocket to unreasonable heights.
Research from eBay shows that demand for both ‘fire pits’ and ‘outdoor heaters’ has increased by 594% and 581%, respectively to keep gatherings going after the sun goes down.
