Asda is selling Gordon’s new Sicilian lemon and peach flavoured gins for £13 a bottle – The Sun
03/08/2020GIN lovers might want to start stocking up for summer as Asda is selling Gordon's new Sicilian lemon and white peach flavours for £13 a bottle.
One shopper spotted the bargain in their local Sheffield store and posted about it on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
And it seems others can't wait to get their hands on the fruity tipples with the post wracking up more than 1,400 comments.
Someone wrote: "Great for summer me thinks", while another added: "One to try next time… bet this is lovely!".
The Sicilian lemon gin launched last week and now Gordon's has also unveiled a white peach flavour too that's exclusive to Asda and Greene King pubs.
Both bottles are 70cl, and are 37.5 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV) as per the rest of the Gordon's range.
They follow Gordon's other flavours, including pink distilled gin, and the winter favourite, sloe gin.
Neither of the new flavours are currently listed online at Asda, so you might want to call ahead to check they're in stock at your local store before making a special visit.
Asda has around 600 stores across the UK. Use its store locator tool to find your nearest.
The only other major supermarket selling the Sicilian lemon online is Morrisons, which has reduced the price of the Sicilian lemon flavour from £16.50 to £14.
And Asda has the cheapest prices we could find online for lemon and peach-flavoured gins in general.
In comparison, Asda also sells both a 70cl bottle of original Gordon's special London dry gin and Gordon's premium pink distilled gin for £13.
Aldi also has four new gins including a sparkly summer trifle one that tastes of raspberry, vanilla sponge and custard.
While Home Bargains has rolled out new shimmery tipples for gin fans, and they taste of violet and honey.
