Keen shoppers have rejoiced at the reopening of non-essential stores across England in the latest round of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown. Pubs, restaurants, gyms and shopping centres have now all reopened, some in a limited capacity, as coronavirus rates drop across the country.

What time does the Birmingham Bullring open and close?

Birmingham and Central Bullring is open all week at the following times:

. Monday – 10AM – 8PM

. Tuesday – 10AM – 8PM

. Wednesday – 10AM – 8PM

. Thursday – 10AM – 8PM

. Friday – 10AM – 8PM

. Saturday – 10AM – 8PM

. Sunday – 10AM – 8PM

The shopping centre also has an online crowd checker so you can see when the quietest times are to shop.

There are a number of safety guidelines in place at shopping centres across the country, including one way and queuing systems to avoiding crowding and congregations.

The centre has put the following guidelines into effect:

  • A one-way system in the centre. Entry into centre will be using Rotunda Square and Grand Central ramp entrances only. All remaining entrances will be closed.
  • Clear signs throughout the centre reminding everyone of the need to social distance, and to avoid shopping in large groups.
  • Hand sanitiser stations around the centre.
  • Enhanced cleaning procedures throughout the centre.
  • Face coverings are compulsory throughout the centre, including in all stores.

Can I eat at the Birmingham Bullring?

The Birmingham Bullring website reads: “Please remember in line with the latest Government guidance, indoor seating remain temporarily unavailable in restaurants and cafes however many are open for takeaway and delivery.

“Outdoor dining is also available at some locations.”

Currently, only a handful of restaurants have been able to reopen for outdoor diners at the Birmingham Bullring.

Vietnamese Street Kitchen has heated outdoor dining space overlooking St Martin’s Church.

Chaophraya, a Thai eatery, has a similar terrace overlooking the church.

Both require you to book a table before dining.

Elsewhere, Pizza Hut, Market and The Indian Streatery also have outdoor dining spaces – and do not require a booking.
