Burger King giving away FREE Whoppers – here's how to get one before they run out | The Sun
02/07/2023A BURGER King branch is offering 1,000 free whoppers on a first come first serve basis.
The offer comes as part of a successful launch by the fast-food chain in Glossop in Derbyshire.
The offer is not confined to meat-eaters, however, as a free plant-based alternative is available for vegetarians and vegans.
Only Burger King app users on February 8, 2023 will be eligible – and only at the branch on Glossop Brook Road.
The news of Burger King's latest offering in Glossop was made public in September last year – with the store creating 25 jobs for the town.
Alasdair Murdoch, CEO of Burger King UK, commented: “We know the people of Glossop love the great-tasting food of Burger King, so we’ve listened to their requests and are very excited to bring all their favourites to their neighbourhood.

The town has had a chequered past with planned fast-food store openings.
After rival McDonald's proposed opening its doors in Glossop in 2021, a petition attracting nearly 1,000 signatures was created opposing the plans for a number of reasons.
The cited gripes by residents included litter, traffic and concerns over the fast food building erasing Glossop's unique charm.

The overlapping proposals could mean that Glossop residents will have two fast-food giants setting up shop in the space of a few short months.
