How to make whipped lemonade – the latest TikTok trend you need to try07/14/2021
Got a sweet tooth and a soft spot for lemon?
Whipped lemonade is a TikTok trend shaping up to be the very thing to keep your taste buds happy all summer long.
This simple frothy drink is summery, doesn’t take a lot of ingredients, and is easy to put together, making it perfectly primed to get hyped up online.
There are a bunch of variations on the recipe floating around on TikTok, with some people using ingredients such as condensed milk, coconut milk, or whipping cream to make the drink nice and creamy, and fizzy lemonade, lemon juice, Kool-Aid, and/or powdered lemonade mixtures to get that all-important tangy kick.
How to make whipped lemonade
One TikTok recipe by user mtlajeunesse requires whipped cream, sweetened condensed milk, ice, lemons for their juice and a garnish, and a blender.
In the video, they put three cups of ice, two cups of whipped cream, a half cup of the condensed milk and a half cup of lemon juice in the blender.
They blend until the mixture is creamy with a few chunks of ice left, and pour it into a glass.
Then they top the mix off with more whipped cream and a slice of lemon to garnish.

You can also use a powdered drink such as Kool-Aid to give your whipped lemonade a twist, as goldenxclouds does in their recipe.
They sprinkle Kool-Aid on top of whipping cream and use a handheld milk frother to mix it together until the mixture forms soft peaks.
They then pour a bottle of lemonade into a glass and top it with the Kool-Aid/cream mixture, which is firm enough for them to top with a whole strawberry.

For a vegan-friendly alternative, you can try using coconut milk instead of cream or condensed milk.
If you find your mixture is a bit thicker than you’d like, don’t be afraid to add a little more water or lemonade (where applicable) and stir to thin it out.
For a party-friendly version, you can also try adding vodka, gin or tequila to the blender or (if relevant) the lemonade before you add the frothy topping.
