ICELAND stores may be open at different times this weekend.

So we explain how to check store opening and closing times over the upcoming early May bank holiday.

When is Iceland open over the early May bank holiday?

Iceland supermarkets are usually open from 7am or 8am to about 7pm and some stores don't shut until 9pm.

And on a Sunday you'll be able to head into an Iceland from 10am to 4pm.

The store's hours might vary depending on where you are in the country, especially over the bank holiday weekend.

But Iceland is definitely keeping its doors open this bank holiday Monday, you'll just have to check the locator tool to know if your closest is closing any earlier than normal.

Is Iceland doing delivery over the Bank Holiday?

Iceland is offering free next day delivery if your order totals over £35.

If your shopping comes a little under that then you will be charged £2 in addition to the £25 minimum spend that is required for any online orders.

The store do typically carry out deliveries on a Sunday, so you should still be able to have your groceries delivered this weekend.

And on Monday there are plenty of spaces available for you to reserve – and there are no limits on early morning bookings or evening deliveries either.

Slots are limited to first come first served though so you just have to check if the store can deliver to your postcode.

The supermarket also offer a handy new service where you can shop in store but have your groceries delivered home for you, so you don't have to lug any heavy bags back yourself.

This service is also great if you have too much shopping to bring home on your own and you have to catch public transport.

If you spend over £25 in store then the service is completely free and will be delivered the same day.
