Man shares 'insane' coffee mix, with caffeine pills, espresso shots and Red Bull

There’s nothing like a delicious, hot coffee to perk you right up in the mornings.

And perhaps another cup when the afternoon slump gets you.

But one man who is super keen to be alert at all times has a caffeine routine that would have most of us up all night and it has been dubbed ‘insane’ on social media.

Radio talent manager Bruno Bouchet crushes caffeine tablets, pours in a Red Bull, and espresso shots in a glass and drinks it all together.

As a regular early morning addition to a radio channel, Bruno has had to come up with a way that wakes him up quickly.

So he developed the ‘Bruno Brain Buster’ coffee which is served in a tall milkshake glass.

The 34-year-old shared his milkshake recipe – which goes above the recommended caffeine intake – on his Instagram, but people were baffled by the combination.

Bruno didn’t make it clear whether he drinks the stuff every morning but we hope for his health’s sake, it’s not a regular morning fixture.

The radio manager prepares his drink by adding with 550mg of tyrosine – a dietary supplement used to improve alertness, attention, and focus.

Then he puts in 1000mg of taurine – an amino acid which is found in energy drinks.

Tuarine doesn’t have any recorded side effects if you take less than 3000mg a day.

After this he adds caffeine tables, crushing them up in a mortar and pestle and mixing them with the other ingredients.

He rounds off the concoction of pills with two shots of espressos and a Red Bull.

According to the NHS, 400mg of caffeine a day is a safe amount for adults so this one drink would be well over that.

Caffeine is a stimulant and consuming large amounts can cause irritability, problems sleeping, restlessness and even in some cases, nausea and vomiting.

Consult with a healthcare professional if you’re worried about your caffeine intake.
