Modern Family first graced our screens back in 2009 as it became an instant hit with fans.
The hit comedy show ran for 11 series up until it came to an end in 2020.
It follows three families' ups and downs, all connected by Jay Pritchett, and the characters in the show often speak directly to the camera which creates a mockumentary style.
The episodes are based on usual events that normal families experience but they often end up in hilarious situations.
It won a total of 22 Emmy awards from 75 nominations along with the finale of the show getting 7.37 million viewers in the first run.
But where are the cast now twelve years after it began?
Sophia Vergara as Gloria Pritchett
Sophia played Jay's very loud wife Gloria and during the show she became the highest paid actress in the world for seven years.

The star has also continued her acting career appearing in hit films such as Chef.
Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy

However, it hasn't all been plain sailing for Ariel as she has had a very difficult relationship with her mother from a young age.
When she was just 14 she confided in one of her acting tutors who then reported the situation to child protective services but her sister ended up taking her in and her mother lost control on Ariel's finances.
In 2015 Ariel officially emancipated at age 17 which she explained that nobody controlled her anymore but she stayed living with her sister until she was 18.
