Following up on last year’s “Somos Familia” offering, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, Dunk Low, Air Max 1 and Blazer Mid have all been redesigned with Día de Muertos in mind. Starting with the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, it sees black and gold go back and forth across the flower-covered shoe with a skull motif used at both the lateral heel and sockliner. As for the Dunk Low, the marigold flower serves as the key point of inspiration with a similar approach to the lateral heel’s embroidery accompanied by a textured upper that combines black and gold hues. Looking to the Air Max 1’s contribution, pink covers the upper with additional vibrant coloring offered via the thematic embroidery found throughout the sneaker. Rounding things out with the Blazer Mid, a much calmer presentation has been prepared with golden crescent embroidery at the heel paired with white, gold and black detailing that blends across the shoe.

At the time of writing, Nike has revealed release details for just two of the four “Día de Muertos” colorways. Both the Nike Dunk Low and Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 are scheduled to land on shelves on October 21 via the SNKRS app at prices of $125 USD and $165 USD respectively. Stay tuned for updates regarding the release of the Air Max 1 and Blazer Mid as they’re likely to join the other two looks in releasing this month.
