Romeo Beckham morphing into dad David with same tattoo as he plays football02/08/2021
Romeo Beckham appears to be slowly morphing into his father David Beckham, after sporting what appears to be a matching tattoo and now training with the icon's football club.
Fans have been left wondering if the 18-year-old is planning to kick-start his football career after getting in some practice with his dad's new club.
Legend David Beckham, the former England captain and Manchester United star, has allowed his middle son to train with Inter Miami.
The co-owner got his boy involved with the American club's youth team after buying the MLS side last year.
Romeo took part while wearing his hair in a man bun – similar to the hairdo David used to sport – and could still follow in his famous father's footsteps.
The teen rekindled his love for the game last year and regularly posts glimpses into his training on Instagram.
David and brother Cruz, 15, watched on as Romeo showed off his skills.
He quickly decided to end his pursuit of a career in football after not making the grade at Premier League giants Arsenal five years ago.
David said at the time: "The other day Romeo turned round to me and said he didn’t want to play football any more.
"Part of me was devastated but part of me was relieved, too. He's got other passions and I like that."
Football is not the only things Romeo and David have in common.
He showed off his new eagle leg tattoo as he trained with the team – and his old man knows a thing or two about ink.
His dad has an eagle tattoo as well, though it's underneath David's left armpit rather than on his leg.
David has a total of 63 tattoos, while brother Brooklyn, 21, has already racked up numerous tats – including one of fiancée Nicola Peltz's eyes on the back of his neck.
Some of David's most famous tattoos include angel wings on the back of his neck, full sleeves on both of his arms and various tributes to his family all over his body.
A source told MailOnline: "Romeo has been enjoying some training with the youth team. He plays a lot of football at school in the UK so it's great for him to join in when he's in Miami.
"His dad is obviously going to the training grounds for work and and Romeo is enjoying going along with him."
David sported a dark green T-shirt along, dark trousers and a black cap as he watched the teenagers in action.
