Six Aldi Specialbuys on sale today including Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig toys

ALDI has new specialbuy Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol toys on sale today.

The store restocks its specialbuy section every Sunday and this week the launch is full of toys and kid-proof gear.

You can buy some specialbuy items in store at Aldi but a lot of the stock will be available online too.

If you are heading in-person to nab one of the kiddie bargains then you can use Aldi's store locator tool to find your closest.

Otherwise you'll need to keep in mind the £2.95 extra fee for delivery of any of the products to your home.

And while Aldi prides itself on stocking discount goods, it's always a good idea to shop around for a deal first as just because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't always mean it's the steal you first thought.

We've picked out some of the top buys from Aldi's specialbuy range that launched today.

Peppa Pig's Electronic Clever Car

  • Price: £24.99 – buy now

This new toy from Aldi includes Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy pig in an infrared sensor controlled vehicle.

When all 4 talking characters are seated the car is activated, and sensors help it avoid obstacles while your little one watches Peppa and her family zoom around the floor.

You can buy the exact same toy from The Entertainer for £5 more, as the toy superstore has the same clever car listed for £29.99.

That means Aldi's specialbuy price is around 17% cheaper than competitors.

Paw Patrol Dino Patroller

  • Price: £43.99 – buy now

This toy features large expanding wheels, pop out launchers and lights.

Your kids will be able to recreate their favourite moments from the TV series as the toy is themed around Paw Patrol and includes one of the characters too.

On Smyths the toy is an extra £1, as the toy retailer has the same dino patroller listed for £44.99.

Disney Colouring Book

  • Price: 99p – buy now

This new item from Aldi is one of the cheapest in the latest specialbuy launch.

You'll be able to colour in all your favourite characters as there are several other alternatives like a Disney Princess colour book too, filled with 32 pages of colouring fun.

The Works has an assortment of colouring books including Disney themed ones but they are double the price at £2.

For the extra £1.01 you do get double the pages though, so you'll have to weigh up the productivity you'll get out of the smaller book compared to the bigger one.

National Geographic Walkie Talkies

  • Price: £19.99 – buy now

These National Geographic Walkie Talkies have a long-range so you'll be covered for up to 6 kilometres.

The pair features eight adjustable narrow band channels , a headphone jack, adjustable volume, belt clip and 10 different ringing melodies.

You'll also get batteries included with purchase so you won't have to fork out the extra money to get your new toy working from day one.

Argos has Discovery Channel walkie talkies for an extra £5 on Aldi's price.

The similar model two pack is £25 from the retailer but if you're after something cheaper then they do have kids character themed pairs from £10 too, but these might not be as technical.

Grafix Grow Your Own Pizza Garden

  • Price: £3.99 – buy now

If you want to get the kids involved in some creative DIYs then they can now learn about how plants grow with the help of the Grafix Grow Your Own Pizza Garden.

The kit contains paints, a brush, stickers, and seeds to start growing.

This item is quite unique to Aldi so if you're after a bargain kit for your kids then you won't find much better.

Notonthehighstreet has similar kid's growing kits but they are charged at a much higher premium with some nearly £23.

So if you're looking for a fun DIY at home for a much lower cost then you could save at least £19 with Aldi's new stock out today.

Lily & Dan Children's Wellies

  • Price: £6.99 – buy now

These wellies are a bargain at £6.99 and more importantly they will protect your little one's clothes when they're out having fun.

The outer sole is rubber to provide the ultimate comfort and protection and the pair has sturdy handles to help pull them on and off.

You might be able to find a better bargain at Sport's direct though, if you're in the market for some discount wellies the retailer has pairs starting from £4, so you could save nearly £3 compared to Aldi's price.

As well as the launch of the new specialbuy stock, Aldi's baby and toy sale is back too right now – with prices starting from £1.80.

The store has also revealed all the key dates for when shoppers can buy its sell-out items in the specialbuys range next month.

And we've complied a list of 22 of the best copycat Lidl and Aldi products – but can you spot the difference?
