The media personality has been searching for a new flat after selling her New Jersey mansion for under $2 million last year. Williams has been renting an apartment in Manhattan where she pays a jaw-dropping $15,000 per month.

Williams spent $4.5 million on the high-rise unit a couple of months ago. The 2,400-square-foot space includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen with walnut cabinets, granite countertops, and a wine refrigerator.

Many luxurious amenities are available to Williams at the building. Radar claims the property has a fitness center, which includes a lap pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub.

Wendy’s decision to buy the home came weeks before the producers of her show revealed the host has been battling health issues.

On September 9, the show’s producers released a statement saying the show would go on hiatus. On the show’s Instagram, an announcement stated that Williams would return to host the show for its season 13 premiere on September 20, later than expected.

But the following week, the producers announced the premiere date was again pushed back, this time to October 4. The delay was necessary after Williams tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. Producers delayed the show for the third time this week, claiming it will now premiere on October 18. Williams will not return at first, and the show will feature guests hosts.

The Wendy Williams Show has helped turn the broadcaster into a household name. The syndicated talk show is a frequent rating hit and has been number one for its time slot in many major markets. The success of the show is due to a loyal audience which has proved profitable. The show has been airing for 13 years, and Williams reportedly signed a $10 million contract for the previous season.

Before television, Williams was a radio DJ and host. She quickly became known in New York as a shock jockette. She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities which continued as she began hosting her television show.
