Viewers were singing Megan McKenna's praises on Tuesday's episode of Celebrity Master Chef, as she impressed fans with her culinary skills.

The former TOWIE star appeared to do very well in her skills test. But she also dazzled judges when she cooked up a whole lobster, despite smashing the sea creature to pieces prior.

Viewers at home were also pleasantly surprised by the star and took to Twitter to air their thoughts.

One fan penned: "Feel like Megan may be the dark horse in this, despite the fryer mishap."

While another said: "Megan's, surprised me y'know, she's actually pretty well-skilled, tbf!"

A third also agreed that Megan had some good cooking skills and said: "Megan is terrific value. Put her through."

But some fans couldn't help but comment on the way Megan handled her lobster dish.

"Megan completely obliterating that lobster like she's in a Hammer horror film," one fan said.

A third viewer penned: "Mitch Tonks having to sadly stand 6 feet away as he watches Megan do increasingly worse things to that poor lobster <3."
