Coronation Street cancelled tomorrow in latest soap schedule shake-up | The Sun01/26/2023
VIEWERS will be missing out on another trip to the cobbles on Friday night.
However, ITV has made sure Coronation Street fans don't go without their fix for too long… again.
Typically airing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Manchester-based drama has been taken off schedule on multiple occasions.
Unfortunately for viewers, Friday will be another day where they will have to wait for drama to unfold as ITV will, instead, air another FA Cup match.
The long-running soap will be replaced by Manchester City's confrontation with Arsenal, with kick-off set at 8pm.
Gunners will be facing City, the second in Premier League, in the FA Cup's fourth round.

Set to take a night off on Friday in favour of the FA Cup action, Corrie will actually be aired on Thursday at a later timeslot.
Fans will be able to tune in to ITV tonight from 9pm for an hour-long instalment of their favourite show.
And their next trip to the cobbles won't be short of explosive with the synopsis reading: "Max faces the consequences of his recent actions, Hope's good deed for Kirk ends in tragedy, and Daniel encourages Daisy to make peace with Christina."
The upcoming drama should keep viewers on their toes ahead of Monday as other matches will be taking over this weekend.

TV shake-ups have been frequent on the box with Corrie fans having to wait several days before being able to catch up with life in Weatherfield.
The iconic soap was already pulled off the air for the World Cup and the changes also had an impact on rival ITV show Emmerdale and BBC One's EastEnders.
Viewers were forced to wait for the climax of Max's grooming storyline on January 9.
