Dancing On Ice stars flogging personalised videos from £11 ahead of ITV show

01/05/2022

Dancing On Ice stars have taken the opportunity to bring in a little extra cash by creating personalised videos for fans.

Skating professionals and some of ITV's 2022 contestants have set themselves up on personal message sites Cameo and Memmo.

On the websites, fans can watch their favourite stars speak live or request their own video for personal use or business.

The process sees people send a request to the celebrity and the star will then respond with a personalised video placed at a set price.

The fees differ depending on who is making the video, with a vast range across all the ITV celebrities.

Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt has shared holiday and birthday messages to fans on Cameo and charges £74 for a personal video or a whopping £389 for a business clip, the highest out of the Dancing On Ice stars.

Rugby Union player Ben Foden has signed up to Memmo and shares "pep talk" chats and Christmas messages to viewers for just £30.

22-year-old Kye Whyte is an Olympic silver medallist BMX Racer and has previously given pep talks and thanked fans on his page however, he is currently not taking video requests.

It is not just celebrities making the most of the extra cash, pro skaters have also been getting involved in selling messages to fans.

Pro skater Matt Evers, who joined the ITV show back in 2006 for the first ever series, has also got in on the extra financial benefit.

Matt charges his fans £26 for a personal video and £130 for a business clip.

Pro skater Alex Murphy won the 2020 series alongside Joe Swash and charges the least out of the ITV show stars for a personalised message.

The American figure skater pulls in just £11 for a personal video and £78 for business clips.

Dancing on Ice stars aren't the only people sitting on the list to earn some cash from Cameo, with Strictly Come Dancing, Love Island and I'm A Celeb stars all making the most of the app.

Of all the celebrities on the famous app, those charging the most include Floyd Mayweather at a whopping £11,250, Caitlyn Jenner at £1,875 and rapper Ice Cube at £,1013.
