ANNE Heche candidly revealed that her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres cost her a multi-million dollar picture deal with Fox studios. 

The Dancing With The Stars contestant opened up about not working on a studio project for over 10 years due to the “bad stigma” that surrounded her same-sex romance at the time. 

As she got emotional, Anne Heche, 51, talked about the night she met Ellen, 62, at a Vanity Fair party in 1997 that “changed" her life “forever.”

The pair went on to date for three years, but the actress claimed that time got her axed from several roles. 

“At my movie premiere for Volcano, I had told them that I was taking Ellen as my date and I was told if I took Ellen I would lose my Fox contract,” she told the cameras of her hit movie co-starring Tommy Lee Jones.  

The Emmy winner continued: “At that moment, she took my hand and said, ‘do what they say’ and I said, ‘no thanks.'

"I took Ellen to the premiere and I was ushered out before the movie even ended and was told I was not allowed to go to my own after party for fear that they would get pictures of me with a woman.”

She further reflected on the time with her ex: “I was in a relationship with Ellen DeGeneres for three-and-a-half years.

“And the stigma attached to that relationship was so bad that I was fired from my multi-million dollar picture deal and I did not work in a studio picture for 10 years.”

The Ellen Show host and Anne went on to become one of the most high-profile couples in the world when they dated from 1997 until their split in 2000.

Their relationship was paved the way for others due to being two of the few openly out celebrities at the time.

Anne tied-the-knot to her only husband soon after her breakup from Ellen. 

She was married to actor Coleman Laffoon from 2000 to 2007 and share share 18-year-old son Homer together.

The Ohio native started a relationship with co-star James Tupper in 2008 but split in 2018.

Together, they share 11-year-old son Atlas. 

Meanwhile, Ellen has remained married to longtime wife, Portia de Rossi, since 2008. 

The couple has stayed together through the explosive allegations of “mean behavior” and a “toxic workplace environment” that surrounded Ellen’s career this year. 

Despite getting positive feedback after dancing the Paso Doble to Katy Perry's Rise, Anne and her partner, Keo, were eliminated from the competition. 

The results were shocking tonight as Tyra Banks, 46, was forced to admit there had been a massive mixup with the results. 

"There's actually been an error. I'm looking right now and we have three couples, so we need to clarify this for one second,” she said stunned. 

The host then confirmed: “The bottom two couples are Anne and Keo and Monica and Val.”

However, Cheer coach Monica Aldama and her partner were already told they were safe and had to come from backstage. 

"Please come back. Please have Monica come back. There’s been an error in our control room, but we're making it happen. 

“This is live TV, right? This is the craziness of live TV,” the ANTM alum said of the mixup. 

After being in the bottom two for the second week in a row, Anne was eliminated as the judges chose to save Monica.
