She said she was forced to call the police after receiving “relentless” rape threats. In the wake of social media abuse, Emily, 32, moved home four times, later saying: “They knew where I lived, said what they were going to do to me, even my family.”

In her new BBC Two show Sexual Harassment & Me, she will try to contact the men who send her explicit content.

Emily, who found fame on E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners, explains: “I am hoping to find answers to the many questions I’ve been asking myself my entire life. I hope it will go on to help thousands of others too.”

The former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! star has also campaigned against cyber flashing. It was criminalised this year, carrying a maximum two-year jail sentence.
