BBC favourite The One Show will be back on screens next week after taking a summer break.

The popular evening magazine show will recommence airing from Tuesday 29 August, right after the Bank Holiday.

The programme has been missing from schedules for weeks after it took an extended break over the summer.

Alex Jones, Jermaine Jenas and Ronan Keating are the regular hosts of the programme and will be back on screens from next week in a move set to delight fans.

The trio will have been enjoying some much-needed down time from the show which broadcasts week nightly at 7:00pm.

In total, the programme will have been off-air for three weeks
