Below Deck Mediterranean will be setting sail once again later this month with a June 28 release date. The ship will have a crew of new and old faces alike. But who is star Lexi Wilson?

Who is Lexi Wilson?

Lexi Wilson is one of many new crew members making her debut in season six of the sailing series.

Wilson was born in the Bahamas before moving to the states for college and receiving a scholarship in Track and Field.

The stunning star later went on to compete in pageants and represented the Bahamas in the 2013 Miss Universe competition.

She got into yachting by sheer coincidence after bumping into a yacht captain while she was spending time in Florida.

The captain invited her to work as a stewardess on board his ship and the star has never looked back.

Wilson prides herself on managing to remain glamourous while in uniform and still have a good time while working aboard the ship.

She will be joining the Lady Michelle as Second Stew and will be prioritising the guests above all else in the new season.

She will be joining familiar faces Malia White, the ship’s Bosun and Captain Sandy Yawn who is also back for another season.

Yawn has quickly become a fan favourite as the show’s first-ever female caption, known for her no-nonsense attitude while on board.

Also joining Wilson as newcomers are Mathew Shea, the Chef, Katie Flood, Chief Stewardess, and Courtney Veale, Stewardess.

The other members of the crew are David Pascoe and Lloyd Spencer who will both be servicing as deckhands in the season.

Season six promises to be another drama-filled voyage as Bravo recently dropped the trailer ahead of the premiere.

The trailer shows the crew wearing masks in several scenes, showing that things will be slightly different this time around.

The show has been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, making filming more difficult than before.

That won’t change the show’s drama, however, as in the trailer guests can be seen partying too much and the crew once again struggle to maintain control.

Despite delays, the show will be premiering on June 28 on Bravo TV.

Fans have been sharing their thoughts on the show, taking to Twitter ahead of season six.

One fan said: “That’s me finished all Below Deck and Below Deck: Mediterranean, and I still have to stand by my first decision @ColinMacyOToole and @Kate_Chastain are still my favourites!!”

Another fan added: “Below Deck Mediterranean is suddenly everything to me.”

A third fan shared:  “When I think about the amazing Below Deck Sailing yacht being replaced by the terrible energy of Below Deck Mediterranean.”

Below Deck Mediterranean season six will be available to watch on Bravo from June 28.
