Love Island viewers are not impressed with Millie Court after the beauty failed to correctly read the text which told her she would be going on a date with Liam.

While they were sat by the pool, Millie receives a text which read: "Millie and Liam. It’s time for your first date! Please get ready to leave the Villa. #millieofthevalley #oneinamilliam."

Viewers immediately praised producers for coming up with the "milliam" nickname, but others were left reeling with Millie over the way she pronounced the name.

When she read the text aloud she said "Mil-Liam," while people were quick to point out that it should be a play on "million".

Taking to Twitter to share their frustration, one user wrote: "The way Millie pronounced Milliam has upset me."

While another person said: "She did not say Milliam the way it should've been said."

A third person wrote: "It was supposed to be 'one in a milliam' and she said 'one in a mill-liam'."

Luckily, Millie's blunder didn't hold them back on their date, with the couple arriving as Liam recognised that they had been dating for two and a half weeks.

As the pair spoke about their romance, Millie said: "I feel like it has moved very quickly. I was really nervous and shy. As much as I really fancied you, I didn't think we would have this connection."

When asked by Liam how Millie thought they would work on the outside, she said that she wanted to know what his mum would think of her.

It seems Liam thinks his mum would definitely be a fan of Millie, so as long as they both behave themselves in Casa Amor, they may get a chance to meet the parents towards the end of the season.

Millie and Liam have quickly become favourites in the villa and viewers have been begging for the pair to have more screen time – and today, their wish was granted.

The couple seem to be sliding right through the villa, without a single challenge being thrown at their relationship, but could Casa Amor be the ultimate spanner in the works?

Viewers remain hopeful that one of the favourite couples will be able to stay faithful to one another after a few days apart – and we will start to see it from Sunday.

Love Island, and Casa Amor, returns on Sunday on ITV2 at 9pm.
