MAURA Higgins has insisted she's very single after dating footballer Connor Wickham – and has hinted she could even return to Love Island.

The Irish beauty, who found fame alongside Molly-Mae Hague on the dating show in 2019, set the record straight in a fan Q&A on Instagram last night.

After being asked if she was single, Maura replied: "This question just never stops coming up. Yes I'm single. I'm very single. I couldn't be more f*****g single. I may as well just go into Love Island again."

She also said she'd love to do presenting work for Love Island after a fan said she'd be perfect for the show.

Last month we revealed how Maura had been seeing MK Dons striker Connor after being introduced by friends.

Maura, 31, and Connor, 29, quietly dated for a number of weeks, and even enjoyed a holiday together.
