Strictlys Sara dealt crushing blow day before live show as shes tipped for axe

Strictly Come Dancing star Sara Davies has been dealt a shocking blow before the live shows, as she has been named as the favourite to leave the show this weekend.

The Dragon’s Den entrepreneur is 6/4 to be eliminated – which makes her the favourite to be booted off this weekend.

Another favourite to be eliminated this weekend is BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, who is 2/1 to get voted off.

Tilly Ramsay survived a dance off last week against Adam Peaty and is next favourite to go at 11/4, although this wouldn't affect her too much as she is set to become a millionaire after her Strictly stint.

Rupert Adams, spokesperson for William Hill, said: “Sara Davies is our current favourite to leave Strictly this week at odds of 6/4, but it’s not a full gone conclusion by any means.

“Dan Walker controversially avoided another dance off last week, which might affect his chances of making it through week 8, and he is just 2/1 to leave.”

Sara's devastating blow before the live show tonight comes not long after she urged Tilly Ramsay to “forget that bloke” who called her “chubby” and not let him ruin her chances on Strictly.

The fellow contestant and entrepreneur hopes the 19 year old daughter of TV chef Gordon can brush off LBC DJ Steve Allen’s cruel slur earlier this week and show off her dance skills.

Sara said: “I texted Tilly when I heard what had happened and I have been in constant communication with her.

“I was so worried about her as she is so young and vulnerable. That bloke has a lot to answer for picking on a 19 year old lass.

“She needs to forget that bloke. It must not affect her performance. How devastated would you be?

“We will be able to see it on her face if she has let it affect her. I really hope she is strong enough not to let it affect her.

“Good for her for keeping her chin up and going to rehearsals. A lot of people would have hidden in a corner and sat and cried.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One.
