British Airways steward films himself telling shocked passengers to 'f*** off'

A BRITISH Airways steward has filmed himself telling passengers to “f*** off”.

Connor Scanlon can be heard swearing at families filing off a plane.

He then posted the slur on Instagram, accompanied by laughing emojis.

Customer services manager Scanlon, 28, filmed the clip a few weeks ago after a flight from Heathrow to Tel Aviv.

After landing at Israel’s Ben Gurion airport, crew bid farewell to passengers while he swears under his breath.

Scanlon had put in for voluntary redundancy as BA bosses sought to axe up to 12,000 staff this year.

'UPSET HARDWORKING COLLEAGUES'

A source said: “Connor felt cabin crew were unfairly targeted. After deciding to quit, he decided to tell the world what he really thought of his job.

“But this video has seriously upset the majority of hardworking colleagues.

“This is no way to treat the passengers who pay staff wages, and it’s a disgraceful way to behave. Connor has done himself no favours by airing this obscene footage.”

Scanlon, of Dunfermline, Scotland, is now training as a paramedic. He said: “I know I shouldn’t have put it on.”

BA said: “We are appalled by this unacceptable behaviour. We always expect the highest standard of behaviour from our colleagues.”

A BA dispatcher’s car rolled into a parked plane after he left the handbrake off. The flight was delayed while engineers changed the tyre at Heathrow this week.
