A yob was caught on CCTV driving a motorbike into McDonald’s and doing a wheelie in front of shocked customers.

Jordan Roberts, 21, terrorised residents in a historic market town by riding his bike through the pedestrian zone.

Roberts was captured riding through the doors of a McDonald’s in Wrexham, north Wales and doing a wheelie.

Mold Crown Court heard Roberts, who gave his address as Berwyn Prison, was a ‘career criminal’ who committed his first burglary at the age of 11.

Shocked customers look on as Roberts is filmed doing a wheelie while leaving the McDonald’s. Mold Crown Court heard the 21-year-old was a ‘career criminal’

He was jailed for three years and banned from driving for two years, upon his release from prison.

He was also charged with a theft and two burglaries after helping himself to crates of beer without paying – and leaving a shop owner with a bloodied nose.

He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving as well as the theft and two burglaries.

Oliver King, defending, said: ‘When Roberts rode the motorcycle dangerously, it was far more likely given the size of him and the motorbike that if he had collided with another car, he would have come off worse.

Roberts was jailed for three years and banned from driving for two years. He was also charged with a theft and two burglaries after helping himself to crates of beer without paying

‘Roberts’ way of coping with crises in his personal life was to drink excessively and that is when he commits offences impulsively.

‘Roberts has very little recollection of the burglary offences because he was so heavily under the influence of alcohol.’

Judge Niclas Parry said: ‘You are responsible for repeated incidents of dangerous driving which remarkably involved driving into a McDonald’s Restaurant.

‘The sentencing guidelines hardly applied in his case because of his record.’
