Police and Crime Commissioner in court for speeding five times in four months
05/04/2022A POLICE and Crime Commissioner was caught speeding five times in four months.
Caroline Henry, 52, was clocked in four different 30mph zones in March, May and June 2021.
The commissioner, from Giltbrook, Notts admitted the offences at a previous hearing.
She was elected by the county last May.
Yesterday, Nottingham magistrates’ court heard in a statement that Henry was “embarrassed and ashamed”.
Her case was adjourned for technical reasons.

She will be sentenced by a district judge at the same court on July 19.
The role of police and crime commissioners is "to be the voice of the people and hold the police to account."
They are elected on four-year terms.
